Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CodeDevForge website and tools at www.codedevforge.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. The Service

CodeDevForge provides a collection of free, browser-based developer tools (the "Service"). We may add, remove, or modify tools at any time. The Service is provided "as is" and on an "as available" basis.

2. Accounts

Most tools work without an account. If you do create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the Service to break the law or violate someone else's rights.
• Reverse engineer, scrape at scale, or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Bypass rate limits, captchas, or other protections.
• Submit content you do not have rights to, including malware or illegal material.
• Use automated tools to register accounts or generate fake usage.

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of any code, configs, or text you paste into the Site. We do not claim rights to your content. For client-side tools, your content does not leave your browser. For tools that send content to our servers (for example, the resume PDF compiler), we delete it once the request is complete or after a short retention window described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Our content

The Site - including its design, code, copy, and brand - is owned by CodeDevForge and licensed to you for personal, non-exclusive use. You may not copy or redistribute substantial portions of the Site without our written permission. Linking to the Site is welcome.

6. Third-party services

Some pages display advertisements served by Google AdSense and may use third-party libraries loaded from CDNs (Tailwind, Alpine.js, fonts). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantee that any tool will be error-free, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose. Always review the output of a tool before using it in production. CodeDevForge is not a substitute for professional review (legal, security, financial, etc.).

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeDevForge and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct damages is limited to USD $50 or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CodeDevForge from any claim, demand, loss, or damages arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for operational reasons (for example, if a tool is retired). On termination of an account, sections 4 ("Your content"), 7-9, and 11 survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CodeDevForge is operated, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer-protection law gives you a non-waivable right to sue elsewhere.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms over time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
